This technology is amazing. Truly cutting edge. This video was guided by creative director Damien D’Amico from PMI. Our roll was building the drone that you see in the video shots. We also did all the lidar shots. We used a plugin called LAZPOINT 2 to read the lidar data they generated on location. We then exported that to thinking particles and built the environment in C4D. We used the standard render engine on this and it rendered instantly.
