MayoFlux case study
Conair needed a visual way to explain a technical product, system, process, or differentiator that would be difficult to show clearly with live footage alone.
Conair works in plastics manufacturing equipment. MayoFlux framed the work for the audience, use case, and product context behind the assignment.
Agency direction from Covalent, plus cAD files, product references, technical notes, brand direction, sales context, engineering feedback, and review comments.
MayoFlux shaped the story, prepared assets, built simulation or particle work where needed, then handled animation, lighting, rendering, compositing, and review cycles.
Product animation masters, web-ready embeds, sales or trade show versions, and visual assets that can be reused across launch, training, and follow-up.
A reusable product story for sales conversations, product pages, launches, and follow-up marketing.
Covalent asked Mayoflux to animate Conair’s vacuum conveying system—a network of clear tubes that shuttles plastic pellets across a factory floor. The brand provided SolidWorks files for major components, and Mayoflux rebuilt seals, clamps, and clear housings for close-up shots. Custom materials mimicked polycarbonate walls and stainless elbows, while particle simulations tracked pellet flow in real time.
Starting with the script and CAD, Mayoflux produced the full package: storyboards, layout, lighting, render, and composite. Cinema 4D kept tube geometry true to scale; Redshift rendered transparent plastics, internal reflections, and motion-blurred pellets without blowing the schedule. The biggest hurdle was maintaining. The finished animation anchors Conair’s product page and continues to drive qualified sales inquiries. Mayoflux turns complex visuals into clear stories – let us simplify yours next.
